Statement of Faith

1. The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and life.

(2 Timothy 3:16–17)

2. God

We believe there is one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 28:19)

3. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He is the only way to salvation.

(John 14:6, 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the active presence of God in the world today, convicting of sin, drawing people to Christ, indwelling and empowering believers to live godly lives.

(John 16:8, Acts 1:8)

5. Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It is a free gift from God, not earned by works.

(Ephesians 2:8–9)

6. Baptism & Communion

We believe baptism is the first step of obedience for a believer. It is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and symbolizes His death, burial, and resurrection. It does not save but reflects a life already changed by Christ. We also observe communion as a regular act of worship, remembering the body and blood of Jesus Christ given for us. At The Chapel, we observe communion on the first Sunday of each month and special services such as Gold Friday and Christmas Eve as well.

(Romans 6:3–4, 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

7. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. Its mission is to worship God, make disciples, and share the Gospel with the world.

(Matthew 28:19–20)

8. Christian Living

We believe every believer is called to live a life set apart for God, growing in faith, obedience, and love for others through the power of the Holy Spirit.

(Galatians 5:22–23)

9. Eternity

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—those who trust in Christ will spend eternity with God in heaven, and those who reject Him will be separated from Him.

(John 5:28–29)

10. The Return of Christ

We believe Jesus Christ will return again, and we are called to live ready, faithful, and expectant.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)
